US woman to face court following ammunition seizure at SIA
An American woman is to face the St James parish court on Friday, following an ammunition seizure at the Donald Sangster International Airport in the parish on Thursday.
Twenty-nine-year old Brittany Allen, an information technology specialist of Atlanta, Georgia in the United States, is charged with possession of unauthorized ammunition.
Reports are that at about 12:10 p.m., Allen was screened by port security officers when anomalies were detected in her luggage.
The police were contacted and twenty four .380 cartridges were found during a search.
Allen was arrested and charged.
