Six months after national player Simon Tomlinson walked away from the sport of table tennis, another national stand out Kane Watson is on the verge of calling time on his career.
A four time national champion, and the first man in Jamaican history to win three national senior titles in a row, Watson who also holds a gold medal at the world championships level won back in 2014 told Irie Fm sports that he is not happy with what is happening in the sport locally.
The 35 year old Watson who is the son of renowned sculptor Basil Watson says putting away his racquet is as a result of losing the passion, caused by external forces within the Jamaica Table Tennis Association.
