UPDATE: Body of second teen girl who was washed away by river in St Mary found this morning
The body of the second teen girl who was washed away by a river in Jobs Hill, St.Mary on Thursday (August 25) has been recovered.
She has been identified as 14-year-old Hallekaye Smikle.
The teen and her 10-year-old relative, Quwana Ricketts reportedly went to the river, fell in, and got carried away by the water.
Ricketts’ body was recovered during a search operation yesterday morning.
Superintendent of police in charge of the St. Mary Division, Bobbette Morgan Simpson told IRIE F-M news, that Smikle’s body was found about 10 o’clock this morning.
