One of the three children, who were hospitalized following last Tuesday’s mass shooting along Text Lane, near Charles Street in Kingston, has died.

Head of the Kingston Central Police, Superintendent Beresford Williams, said the deceased has been identified as Jadore Campbell, an autistic teen.

He passed away at 8: 35 PM on Saturday.

Reports are that at around 8: 45 PM, last Tuesday, several people were sitting at a premises, when a motorcar approached them.

The occupants of the vehicle reportedly opened gunfire on the group before driving away.

After the shooting subsided, six people, including children, were discovered with gunshot wounds.

Three were treated and released last week, leaving Jadore and two other children in the hospital.

The police have increased their presence in the area since the incident.
