Under 20 Reggae Girls now in the Dominican Republic for Concacaf Women’s Championship
Jamaica’s National under 20 Reggae Girls are now in the Dominican Republic for the upcoming Concacaf under 20 Women’s Championship.
The team under the guidance of head coach Hugh Bradford are drawn in group ‘a’ and will open their against Canada on Wednesday at 3pm Jamaica time.
They will then face defending champions United States on Friday at 5, before wrapping up their group stage campaign against Panama on Sunday at 2.
Full squad reads; Andrene Smith, Shaneil Buckley, Una Moy Lue , Davia Richards, Liha Williams, Taijah Fraser, Tiny seaton, Kaitlyn Ennis, Natoya Atkinson, Destiny Powell, Akeila Johnson, Janiel Mignott, Amelia Zanten, Liya Brooks, Avery Johnson, Maya Ragu-nan-da-nan, Anaiyah Robinson, Njeri butts , Njeri Lewis and Katie Oakley .
Group B’ meanwhile features former champions Mexico, along with tournament host Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and Puerto Rico.
The two finalists and the third place finisher will advance to the 2024 FIFA Women’s under 20 World Cup.
