Under 20 Reggae Boys hit Turks and Caicos for 7 in Concacaf Under 20 Qualifiers
Jamaica’s under 20 Reggae Boys continued their relentless march towards qualification, after they hammered group B’ opponents Turks and Caicos Island 7-nil last night .
This is the Concacaf Under 20 World Cup qualifying competition in Curacao .
Double strikes from Raequan Campbell-Dennis and Giovani Taylor powered the Jamaican to victory to remain unbeaten in the qualifiers.
Campbell-Dennis opened the scoring in the 10th minute, before he doubled the lead in the 13th minute.
Then, Jahmarie Nolan in 19th and Jabarie Howell in the 30th also got their names on the score-sheet to make it 4-nil.
Later Geovanni Taylor added one more in the second half in minute 61, before Orell Miller scored again to push the score to 6-nil in Jamaica’s favour in minute 82.
Taylor later sealed the deal with a perfect half volley three minutes from time.
With the win, the Rudolph Austin coached team moved to 6 points atop the group, following Monday’s 3-nil blanking of Bonaire .
Elsewhere in group B’ Puerto Rico sits second on 6 points, behind Jamaica after brushing aside Bonaire 4-nil, while St Kitts and Nevis were 3-nil winners over the Cayman Islands.
The young reggae boys will next be in action on Friday when they tackle the Cayman island at 7pm Jamaican time.
