Under 17 Reggae Boys are now 90 minutes away from qualifying for the FIFA Under 17 World Cup
Jamaica’s national Under 17 footballers are now 90 minutes away from qualifying for the FIFA Under 17 World Cup in Qatar later this year.
This follows their massive 12-nil mauling of the Cayman Islands on Sunday in their Concacaf Under 17 World Cup qualifier in Costa Rica – their second biggest victory margin in under 17 World Cup qualifying following a 19-nil effort over the U.S. Virgin Islands in 2014.
Kelvin Brown dominated the score sheet scoring 4 times with the first coming in the first minute.
Tyraun Bembridge scored twice, captain Jahmarie Nolan also had a brace, so too Jamone Lyle with Rajon Mckenzie getting one while there was an own goal scored by William Kirksey.
The Young Reggae boys move to maximum six points at the top of the group where they were joined by Canada.
The boyz need only a draw against Canada on Wednesday to qualify for a third FIFA World Cup Under 17 final.
