U.S. citizens voting in ‘historic’ Presidential Election

It’s Election Day in the United States.

Republican candidate Donald Trump is going up against the Democrat’s Kamala Harris.

Both Trump and Harris are hoping to become the 47th president of the U.S., when the ballots are counted after today’s polls.

Shanice Gibbs reports from Washington, D.C.

It’s a busy time in DC this morning as US citizens prepare to cast their ballots, in what’s being described by many, as a historic Presidential Election.

At the Women’s National Democratic Club, at least one bus filled with volunteers was waiting to depart.

They are heading to Pennsylvania to knock on doors and urge people to vote.

Kyle Lairman is one of the volunteers with the Harris Campaign Team.

Meantime, Garold Hamilton, a Jamaican who has been living in the U.S. for the past 20 years is among several Jamaicans who voted early.

Mr. Hamilton says he is apprehensive about the outcome of the election.
