Two men were fatally shot during an alleged confrontation with the police on Terminal Road, in Old Harbour, St Catherine on Saturday.

One of the men has been identified as 20-year-old Daniel McKenzie otherwise called ‘Bottle’, of Terminal Road while the other man is currently unidentified.

Police report that about 1:40 p.m., the men allegedly got into a confrontation with the police and were fatally shot.

Two firearms were allegedly seized during the incident.

The incident has been reported to the Inspectorate and Professional Standards Oversight Bureau (Iprob), and the Independent Commission of Investigations (Indecom).
