Two men charged for firearm breaches in St Ann
Two men were charged for breaches of the Firearms Act following a police operation in St. Ann last Tuesday.
They are 22-year -old Adrian White of Belair, Phase 2 in Runaway Bay, St. Ann and Demar Ellis, otherwise called ‘Lokka’, an electrician also of Belair, and Heritage District in Manchester.
Reports are that about 9:00 P.M., the police signalled White- who was the driver of a Nissan AD Wagon motorcar to stop and he complied.
A search of the vehicle was conducted and two 9 millimetre spent casings were reportedly found in the driver’s door.
A secondary search was conducted at White and Ellis’ home and a channellock rapid fire drill that was converted into a gun was allegedly found.
Both men were charged with conversion to a prohibited weapon and unauthorized possession of ammunition.
Their court dates are being finalized.
