Two men believed to be linked to wounding of police officer and murder of his spouse, fatally shot by the police
Two men believed to be linked to the wounding of a police officer and his son, and the murder of his common-law wife in St. James over the weekend, were fatally shot by the police in separate incidents this morning.
Their names have not been released.
Police have also not released the details of the incident.
However, IRIE FM News understands that one incident occurred in Bull Bay, St. Thomas about 8:00 A.M., while the other incident occurred about 2:30 this morning.
In the meantime, the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) is probing the incidents.
Assistant Commissioner of INDECOM, Hamish Campbell said officers are still at the scenes gathering information.
191 people have been fatally shot by the police during alleged confrontations since the start of the year.
