Police arrested two men who were reportedly posing as members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force in the Barbican area in St. Andrew yesterday.

The men’s identities have not been disclosed.

Police say at about 4:15 PM, the men who were reportedly travelling in a service vehicle were accosted by a team of officers who had some suspicions.

Following checks, the team of officers found that the men were not members of the police force.

Other police-related items and an imitation firearm were also reportedly found on the men.

The investigation is ongoing.
