Two government senators have resigned with immediate effect.

They are Ransford Braham and Delroy Williams.

Their resignations push to 4 the vacancies for government senators in the Upper House of Parliament.

Last November Senator Don Wehby resigned and prior to that Matthew Samuda left the Senate to enter representational politics.

Reports to Irie FM News indicate the latest resignations are reportedly part of plans by the government to refresh the Senate.
