Two fishermen rescued by JDF soldiers
Two fishermen who were stranded at sea were rescued on Friday.
Reports are that the men had departed mainland Jamaica on board their fishing vessel “Yellowtail Four” for Rocky Point, Clarendon, when they became stranded due to engine failure.
They were rescued by members of the Jamaica Defence Force, approximately fifteen miles south of Rocky Point.
The fishermen and their vessel were transported safely by the JDF Coast Guard to Port Royal where they were reunited with their families.
