Two men were fatally shot by the police on Braeton Road, in St. Catherine, last evening.

The identities of the deceased have not yet been released.

Head of the St. Catherine South Police, Senior Superintendent Christopher Phillips told Irie FM News that the incident occurred at about 8: 30 pm.

He said the two men were fatally shot during an alleged confrontation with lawmen.
