Two men died as a result of injuries sustained, in a motor vehicle crash, along the McCook’s Pen Main Road, in St. Catherine, last evening.

Dead are Nicholas Creary and James Morgan of Gutters, Old Harbour, St. Catherine.

Police say, at about 9:20 p.m., The driver of a Honda motorcar was travelling along the roadway, when he allegedly swerved to the right side of the road, to avoid potholes.

The Honda driver reportedly went into the path of a Nissan Sunny motorcar.

The Sunny was being driven by Creary, with Morgan as a passenger.

Creary in an effort to avoid hitting the Honda, swerved and collided into a Toyota land cruiser.

Both men were taken from the wreckage and transported to hospital where they were pronounced dead.

The female driver of the Toyota Land Cruiser is said to be in stable condition.
