Tufton urges families not to leave loved ones at hospitals for Christmas
Health minister Dr Christopher Tufton has again urged families to take care of their loved ones and not to leave them at hospitals for the Christmas holiday.
According to the minister, the bed space should be left for persons in need of care.
Dr Tufton said at this time of year, there is generally an increase in social cases at hospitals.
Dr tufton visited the Spanish Town hospital on Wednesday, as part of the Christmas gifts distribution initiative.
15 children who will not be going home for the Christmas holiday received presents.
