Trial for Dancehall producer Shab Don delayed until April 2023
Popular Music Producer Shab Don who was expected to stand trial today for breaching the Corruption Prevention Act did not appear in court.
In a Music News exclusive Monday (DEC 28), Shab Don’s lawyer Donahue Martin revealed that due to today’s developments, the matter has been rescheduled for April next year.
Mr. Martin further states that he is unable to say why his client did not show up for Court today.

In November last year, Shab Don, whose given name is Linval Thompson Jr. was charged with breaching the Corruption Prevention Act – following allegations that he offered a policeman two million dollars to cause an illegal firearm, which was found in a vehicle he was driving, to go missing.
Shab Don, who is one half of the production duo known as Shab Don Records, has worked with a host of high-profile artistes, including Vybz Kartel and Squash.
