Trelawny police division seeking to record no more than 10 murders for the entire year

The Trelawny Police Division is seeking to record no more than 10 murders for the entire year.

That’s according to Head of the Division Superintendent Winston Milton.

The Trelawny Division recorded 24 murders last year in comparison to 25 in 2023.

He said this year’s target of 10 is aligned with the target of the Constabulary Force to record no more than 1000 murders this year.

Superintendent Milton said the target will be achieved through police and civilian partnership.

He called on residents to strengthen and build on the partnership they had with the police last year.

Superintendent Milton was speaking at a JCF/JDF church service yesterday in Trelawny.
