Trelawny Municipal Corporation reports $30M damage estimate following passage of Hurricane Beryl
The Trelawny Municipal Corporation has reported that the estimate of damage to the parish following the passage of Hurricane Beryl, is $30 million.
Falmouth Mayor Colin Gager gave the update at the corporation’s monthly meeting yesterday.
In outlining the damage caused by the storm, Mayor Gager noted that there were damaged buildings, landslides, blocked roadways, fallen trees, and the bus shed at the Falmouth Transportation Centre was blown away.
