Transport Minister Daryl Vaz has indicated that all toll booths are being manned and operated to ensure the smooth flow of traffic during the holidays.

This assurance is via the toll authority after the minister issued a directive today in the wake of complaints by motorists.

He noted that motorists can assist with easing traffic congestion by purchasing toll tags which make for faster processing of toll passage.

The minister indicated that the operator of the east west highway reported that yesterday saw a record number of vehicles passing through the tolls.
