Traffic has been diverted from Gordon Boulevard, in Spanish Town, St. Catherine on Sunday morning, following a motor vehicle crash, which resulted in a downed utility pole blocking the roadway.

Preliminary reports indicate, that three people were in the vehicle, when the crash occurred.

Head of the St. Catherine North police, Deputy Superintendent Hopton Nicholson said the three were taken to hospital. Their condition is not known.

DSP Nicholson noted that arrangements are being made for the Jamaica Public Service to remove the downed pole.

Motorists are urged to use alternative routes.
