Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness has tasked the Tourism Ministry with setting up a committee to fast track permits for hotels impacted by Hurricane Melissa and to help them restart operations.

Speaking at a press briefing yesterday, Dr. Holness noted that the aim is to assist hotels that are in the process of rebuilding.  

He cited the importance of the resorts being operational, so they can, in turn, spur economic recovery in the affected parishes.
