Tourism Minister, Edmund Bartlett said its expected that the economic impact of Carnival in Jamaica this year, will be similar to last year.

Mr. Bartlett said about $60 billion was generated from last year’s staging.

The Minister added that the event facilitated a showcase of the work of creatives.
