Tokyo Olympic 110 meter hurdles champion Hansle Parchment inks deal with IGL
Tokyo olympic 110 meter hurdles champion Hansle Parchment has inked a deal with local gas giants IGL limited.
The dollar figure was not revealed, but the move by the corporate leading distributor of liquid petroleum gas will significantly boost parchment’s preparation for this year’s world athletics championships to be staged in Budapest, Hungary.
Peter Graham, managing director of igl, said that the company was especially pleased to provide financial support towards Parchment’s preparation for budapest.
According to Parchment he was elated and appreciative of igl’s support which will go a long way in alleviating some of the costs associated with training.
Parchment, in the meantime will open his season on Saturday at the Velocity Fest 13 track and field meet at the National Stadium.
