Timberlee working on 2027 world tour to mark ‘Bubble like Soup’ 20th anniversary
Dancehall artiste Timberlee is gearing up for a global tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her breakout hit Bubble Like Soup, a track that continues to resonate with fans including Grammy winning pop sensation Doechii.
Speaking with DJ Sunshine on IRIE FM’s Wake-up Call this morning, Timberlee reflected on the song’s enduring impact.
Timberlee admitted that when the track was first released, she never fully grasped the magnitude of its influence. Today, she says she is deeply grateful that the classic still connects with listeners nearly two decades later.
Originally recorded in the kitchen of her Florida apartment in 2007, Bubble Like Soup, produced by Ward 21 has since become a staple in dancehall culture.
Now a mother of two, Timberlee also opened up about her personal evolution beyond music. She shared that she is focused on growth and empowerment, revealing that she has built a private villa in Mandeville called TIMBA, which she says is designed as a safe space for women navigating trauma.
