Twenty-three-year-old Tiktoker Marlon Samuels, popularly known as “41 BussHead,” was tragically shot and killed on December 20, just a day before his birthday.

41 BussHead, who hailed from Rose Heights, Montego Bay, was attacked shortly after an Instagram Live session around 10:00 pm on North Lane. He was scheduled to perform at Sting on December 26.

This is the second TikToker to be killed by gun violence this month. On December 7, Xavier “Niah Gang” Fogah was fatally shot during a live TikTok session in St. Catherine.

In response to these incidents, many TikTokers have vowed to avoid public events due to safety concerns.

Additionally, calls to ban TikTok in Jamaica are growing. The Major Organized Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA) recently flagged the app as a potential breeding ground for money laundering.
