Three people are in custody and several containers of bulk rum were seized following a targetted police operation, in the Siloah Housing Scheme, in St. Elizabeth yesterday.

The parish’s Commanding Officer, Superintendent, Coleridge Minto, said that at about 5 AM, a specialized team executed search warrants at two residential premises.

This reportedly resulted in 55 gallons of rum being confiscated and the three individuals being arrested.

The police are continuing their investigations, which include verifying the source of the rum.
