Three people died in two separate crashes in St. Andrew and St. Elizabeth between yesterday and this morning. 

Dead are Gary Berry, a resident of Crawford, Andrea Walters, a resident of Brompton, both in St Elizabeth and an unidentified man.

In the latest incident at around 2:20 this morning, the unidentified man died in a crash along the westbound section of the Portmore toll.

At about 12:05 P.M. yesterday in St Elizabeth Berry and Walters died in a crash along the High Street Main Road. 

The crash involved a Toyota Voxy motorcar and a motorcycle. 

Reports are that at about 12:05 P.M., a motorcycle was being driven towards Black River.

It’s reported that a Toyota Voxy being operated as a taxi reportedly veered into its path as it tried to enter the Hodges sub division.

The motorcycle crashed into the side of the taxi before bursting into flames.

The wounded persons were taken to hospital where Berry and Walters were pronounced dead.

The driver of the taxi has been warned for prosecution.

At least 26 people have died in road fatalities since the start of the year.
