Three males killed in separate road crashes on Sunday
Three males were killed in separate road crashes in St. Catherine, Clarendon and St. James, on Sunday evening.
Among them are 63-year-old Ishmael Fletcher of Lilliput, St. James and 57-year-old Paul Douglas of Bottom Jackson Sligoville in St. Catherine.
The identity of the other man has not yet been released.
Douglas was killed in the latest crash along the Nelson Mandela Highway in St. Catherine.
Reports are that at about 7:40 p.m., he was travelling easterly when upon reaching a section of the roadway a Toyota Probox motor car that was being driven in the same direction collided with his vehicle.
The police were summoned and the 2 injured persons were taken to hospital where Douglas was pronounced dead.
The other person was admitted in stable condition.
Approximately 20 minutes earlier, Fletcher died as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident along the Cambridge Main Road in St. James.
Reports from the Cambridge Police are that at about 7:20 p.m., Fletcher was driving a motorcycle along the roadway when he lost control and crashed into a rock.
He sustained head injuries and was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
And at about 6:45 pm, an unidentified man was killed in a crash along the Bustamante Highway in Clarendon.
Reports from the may pen police are that the man was riding a bicycle along the roadway when he allegedly veered into the path of a Honda Stepwagon motor vehicle and was hit.
He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The police are investigating the three incidents.
