$2M reward for information leading to arrest of persons responsible for mass shooting in Commodore, St. Catherine

A $2 million reward has been announced for information leading to the arrest of persons responsible for the mass shooting in Commodore, Linstead, St. Catherine last evening.

Five people including a young girl, were killed.

Four others were wounded.

The deceased have been identified as four-year-old Shannon Gordon, 19-year-old Jowane Walters, 39-year-old, Iysha Washington  and 42-year-old Mario Sullivan, all from Rosemount District, Linstead and 22-year-old Famous Amos from Commodore.

Police theorize that the incident is gang related.

The community was toured by government officials including Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness and Members of the Security Forces today.

Speaking during the visit, Dr. Holness noted the $2 million reward, adding that the value may be increased.
