“The truth was told” – Captain Treezy breaks silence after Paraguay detention
Jamaican aviator and social media personality Jabari Brown also known as Captain Treezy has spoken out after he was detained and subsequently released by authorities in Paraguay in connection with a major drug seizure aboard a jet which landed in there over the weekend.
Via his Instagram story, Captain Treezy, wrote,’ people are evil and don’t care how their actions will hurt others, but the truth was told.’
On May 30, Paraguay’s national anti-drug secretariat, recovered roughly 577 pounds of marijuana from suitcases being unloaded from the jet.
Three U.S citizens travelling on the flight, were arrested on charges of international drug trafficking and unauthorized possession. Brown, who was serving as co-pilot, was detained later that night.
Prosecutors however, ordered Brown’s release on June 1 after he handed over flight logs and cooperated with investigators. Officials cited insufficient evidence linking him to the contents of the passengers’ luggage.
Brown, who goes by “Captain Treezy” online, beat 99 other pilots in Mr. Beast’s “100 Pilots Fight for a Private Jet” challenge in 2025. His prize was a hawker 400xp valued at around $2.4 million.
