The sport of Netball is now one of Jamaica’s most popular sports getting into the top three sport.

This according to the latest findings in the association of Media Professionals (AMP) sport issues poll.

13.2 percent of Jamaicans say Netball is their favourite sport. 

The top three is lead by Football, followed by Track and Field.

Meanwhile, this suggests good news for the Jamaica Netball Association as they prepare to send

The national team to the Vitality Netball World Cup slated for Cape Town, South Africa from July 28 to August 6, 2023.

When the results were broken down by gender, males represent 11.2 percent of the sample while females are at 23.3 percent.

Data collection for the amp poll took place between June 13, and 24, among respondents 18 years and older. the sample size was 2660, 2246

Persons in all 14 parishes responded, an 84.4 percent response rate.

The poll which was conducted by Dr. Paul Bourne and Conroy Julian has a margin of error of 2.5 percent.
