Jamaica Cricket Association voting congress set for April 25
The next voting congress of the Jamaica Cricket Association is scheduled for April 25 at the Jamaica Conference centre in Downtown Kingston .
The date of the elections was decided upon following their board meeting recently.
The elections were due in november of 2023, but was delay as there was no financial statements .
Meanwhile, ninety-nine delegates will chose the next president, and nomination for president is now opened after the 21 days notice of the election was given.
Incumbent Wilford “Billy” Heaven is set to be challenged by first Vice President dr Donovan Bennett for the top post.
Heaven has been president for over ten years and was re-elected unopposed at the last polls two years ago.
