The Jamaican local based delegation are expecetd home Monday night from the just ended 2026 World Relays in Gaborone , Botswana.
The Jamaicans turned in a memorable and epic performance over the twos days of competition and topped the medal table with 2 gold and one silver .
The jamaicans left Botswana with over 150 thousand U.S. dollars in prize money or just over 23.6 million Jamaican Dollars, after winning three relays.
They finished ahead of the USA on the medals standings, as the usa copped three medals 2 gold and a bronze with host Botswana third with one gold and one bronze.
Team Jamaica produced another world record on Sunday’s final day in the mixed 4 X 100 metres relay when the team of Ackeem Blake, Tina Clayton, Kadrian Goldson and Tia Clayton clocked an impressive 39.62 seconds on their way to landing the gold medal
The Women’s Sprint Relay team of Briana williams, Jodean Williams, Lavanya Williams and Elaine Thompson-Herah also mined gold clocking 42 seconds flat to finish ahead of Canada 42.17 seconds and Spain for the bronze 42.31 seconds.

Jamaica also captured the silver medal in the mixed 4 X 400 metres relay when the team of Deandre Watkin, Shana-Kaye Anderson, Antonio Watson and Ruschell Clayton placed second in the final in a national record 3-minutes-08.24 seconds
