Writers and Poetry lovers can gear up for the inaugural staging of Kingston Poetry Week, a seven-day literary extravaganza set to run from March 16 to 23, 2025.

In a release sent to IRIE FM event organizers JAIKU promises to unite poetry enthusiasts, wordsmiths, and cultural aficionados from across the Caribbean and beyond. additionally the organizers partnered with the Caribbean Literature Conference in a synergy that is expected to bring a fresh wave of creative energy to the regional literary scene.

The event which will run through World Poetry Day March 21 will also host the CARICON Regional Poetry Slam, a historic first for the Caribbean. The following evening, on March 22, Jamnesia will come alive with Talk di Tings, a captivating Poetry and Storytelling Show produced by JAIKU in collaboration with What’s Your Story, Jamaica.
