A teen girl is among three people killed in a collision on Brunswick Avenue in Spanish Town, St. Catherine yesterday.

The deceased are 17-year-old Jamilia Wallace of Brendon district, Kitson Town, 73-year-old Cecil Kemp of Beacon Hill, in Spanish Town and Patsy Gaynor of Winters Pen, all in St. Catherine. 

Police say the incident happened around 3:23 PM and involved an international Pay star motor truck and a Nissan AD Wagon motor car.

Lawmen say both vehicles were travelling along the roadway heading to Bog Walk, when upon reaching a section of the thoroughfare, the car crashed into the back of the truck. 

The police were alerted, and the wounded persons were taken to hospital where Wallace, Kemp and Gaynor were pronounced dead.
