Teams coming to Jamaica next Monday, for Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf ‘Champs’

Teams will start arriving in Jamaica as of next Monday, July 1 for the 36th staging of  the Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf Championship.

The three-day event to be held at the Caymanas Golf course in St. Catherine will run from July 3-to-5. 

Approximately 85 participants are slated to compete with host Jamaica taking part in both divisions….boys and girls.  

In the boy’s 18 and under category,  Trey Williams will be joined by compatriots Ryan Lue and Aman Dhiman. 

The trio will be backed up by reserves Noah Azan and Jerone Thomas.

The boys 15 and under team includes Kemari Morris, Davin Hogan, and Cameron Coe, with Jamal Stewart listed as reserve, while  Shasa Redlefsen will wear the national colors in the  boys 11-13 category. 

The girls team will be led by captain Mattea Issa, who will compete in the girls 18 and under division alongside Kierra Williams, and reserve Anoushka Khatri. while the girls 11-13 category features Alessandra Coe and Mallaina Williams. 

The list of participating countries includes defending champions Puerto Rico, Barbados, Bahamas, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic and Trinidad & Tobago.
