Tank Weld provides hundreds of Trelawny residents with care packages

Hundreds of residents of Braco, Rio Bueno and Calabar in Trelawny benefited from Hurricane Melissa relief activities spearheaded by Tank Weld Metals Limited at the weekend.

Tank Weld which is a leading distributor of building materials in Jamaica distributed food and hygiene packages, cooked meals and trucked water to residents on Saturday.

Irie FM News reporters Myesha Broadie and Clement Reid who were in the area delivering care packages caught up with Tank Weld’s team.

Chief Financial Officer of Tank Weld Metals Sarah Jardim in noting the importance of giving back, explained that the company is focusing on communities hit hardest by hurricane Melissa.

She said some 500 care packages were provided to residents of Rio Bueno and its environs.

She noted that a similar activity was conducted in Catherine Hall, St. James.

Ms. Jardim also lauded the Jamaica constabulary force for its support.
