Dancehall icon Beenie Man is set to light up Wingate Park in Brooklyn with a free live performance on July 19, marking a heartfelt gesture to fans who’ve supported him throughout his journey.
The King of the Dancehall made the announcement in a video shared on social media, expressing gratitude to his loyal supporters saying, “This one is for the fans for the love, for the respect, for always holding me up”.
The show will also feature Soca sensation Patrice Roberts and renowned DJ and producer Bobby Konders.
The free concert comes shortly after his triumphant return to the U.S. stage, performing at the UBS Arena in his first major show in the States in over a decade following the reinstatement of his U.S. visa.
Meanwhile as Beenie Man reconnects with audiences abroad, he continues to give back at home the artiste is currently hosting free creative workshops in Jamaica to support and uplift local talent.
