Entertainer Laden is now a free man.
After serving less than four years, Laden whose given name is O’Keefe Aarons was today (April 21) released from prison.
His attorney, Thomas Levene confirmed with Music News that the entertainer was released from the Tower Street Adult Correctional Center after serving 30 months of a 4-year prison sentence for illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition. He also explained that Laden secured an early release due to good behaviour.
Music News understands that the entertainer who hails from St. Elizabeth, is currently on his way home.
On October 28, 2020, Laden pleaded guilty to the charges of illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition, following a police chase.
He was sentenced to five and a half years in the St Elizabeth Circuit Court in Black River on December 16, 2020, for illegal possession of firearm and ammunition by High Court judge Justice Evan Brown who had stipulated that the artiste serve four years for illegal possession of a firearm and 18 months for illegal possession of ammunition. The sentences were to run concurrently.
