“I didn’t expect it,” says Grammy-winner Kabaka Pyramid after copping the coveted Best Reggae Album title for The Kalling.
In his Grammy acceptance speech, Kabaka thanked Damian Junior Gong Marley who produced the tracks, made beats, and even programmed drums. The Bebble Rock entertainer also dedicated the win to Stephen Marley’s son Jo Mersa who died in December last year.
Protoje and Shaggy who were also vying for the Best Reggae Album are among the many social media users congratulating Kabaka Pyramid on his Grammy win.
Both Koffee and Sean Paul shared a pic of Kabaka with his Grammy in their Instagram stories.

His Grammy-winning album The Kalling was released on September 30.
