Ananse Soundsplash is back and bigger than ever!
The 2024 staging of the festival set to run from November 17 through to 23 is being held under the theme “Find Ananse, Discover Jamaica”.
Events to commemorate storytelling week will include Ananse Roun Table, Storytellers meet and greet, Ring Games, a Gala for Men & boys telling stories and Ananse Limpics.
There will also be Programmes in all Parish Libraries, Launch of Ntukuma Collection, Panel Presentations, Ananse goes to college and a story on Where does Ananse live- The story of a select heritage site.
Further to this National Storytellling Day will be observed on November 20. National Storytelling Day will feature Katia Bowie from Colombia who will be on hand to celebrate the 10th anniversary.
