Essential Notes, a book written by Atlantic Records music executive, and Popcaan’s older brother Demonie Wilson, more popularly known as Squidell, has been added the curriculum at the University of West Indies.
In an Instagram post, Squidell shared, that when he first sat down to write Essential Notes, he never imagined that it would be selected as part of the curriculum at a prestigious institution such as the University of the West Indies. He wrote that he was incredibly honoured and humbled at the accomplishment.
Essential Notes: A Glimpse of the Reality of the Music Industry is a backstage pass allowing fans and consumers to experience life beyond the spotlight and is intended to serve as a handbook for those aspiring to pursue a career in music.
The book is available online and in selected stores, and retails for US twenty-five dollars and fifty cents online.
