Dancehall deejay Shenseea seems to be making waves following her departure from Interscope Records, a subsidiary of Universal Music.
Fresh off her collaboration with Ghanaian-American singer Moliy for the remix of Shake It to the Max featuring Skillibeng, Shenseea made a surprise appearance at Davido’s album listening party in Los Angeles to perform their unreleased collab.
In a social media post, Shenseea thanked Davido, writing, “Thanks for having me @davido, the project is fire. 5ive April 18.”
5ive is Davido’s upcoming fifth studio album, scheduled for release on April 18.
Last month, it was reported that Shenseea had parted ways with Interscope Records, under which she released two studio albums: Alpha in 2022 and the Grammy nominated project, Never Gets Late Here in 2024.
