Shane Brown, one of the most in-demand Audio Engineers in Reggae and Dancehall music is encouraging entertainers to refrain from cuffing the microphone.
During his Road To Success interview on Thursday on Easy Skankin with Kshema Francis, the Music producer/Engineer, notes that too often artists are compromising the quality of their performance by the way they hold the microphone.
Shane Brown also commended Dancehall legend Shaggy, whom he said has mastered the art of holding a microphone for optimum delivery.
Shane Brown comes from a long legacy of musicians and has been in the business for over three decades.
In addition to Shaggy, he has worked with the likes of Lauren Hill, Fugees, Chaka Khan, Beenie Man, Beres Hammond, Popcaan, Capleton, Dennis Brown, Morgan Heritage, Taurus Riley, Dean Fraser, and Shabba Ranks, as well as mixing initiatives with Sony and Universal Music Companies.
