Ace songwriter and music producer Mikey Bennett has teamed up with family and friends to deliver a joyful Christmas for children in western Jamaica, with a gift drive dubbed ‘From us with Love.’
The renowned musician shared that the idea was initially birthed out of a desire from his grandson to share his toys with children impacted by Hurricane Melissa.
Bennett said after a successful run at two institutions including his grandson’s school, he knew they were on the right path, which was further confirmed during the production of ‘Best Christmas’- when one of the backup singers suggested starting a toy drive.
