Music lovers are in for an electrifying experience later today as the Kingston Night Market welcomes the sensational Bittin Brass Band to its vibrant weekly showcase in the heart of the city.
The dynamic 10-piece brass ensemble is renowned for its explosive blend of Ska, Reggae, Funk, Creole Rhythms and Authentic New Orleans Jazz.
For more than 12 years, the close-knit collective of musicians and friends has captivated audiences across the Caribbean and beyond, performing at prestigious events such as the St. Barts Jazz Festival, major international Rugby tournaments and the famed Bucket Regatta. Their musical journey has taken them through Cuba, New Orleans and Saint Martin.
Tonight marks a special milestone as the band fulfils a longtime dream of performing in Jamaica. Held every Tuesday at 8 Hillcrest Avenue from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., the weekly pop-up artisan market has become a staple of Kingston’s cultural scene, showcasing authentic Jamaican art, craft, jewellery and fashion.
