As part of his 60 years in music, Leroy Sibbles will be officially crowned King of the Reggae bassline tomorrow (Aug 31) at an event titled ‘Leroy Sibbles: The Crowning — Celebrating The King of the Reggae Bassline’, that will be held at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Center.
Etana, Duane Stephens, and Dean Fraser are among the entertainers slated to pay homage.
Leroy Sibbles was a driving force at the legendary Studio One. He has contributed to the harmonies and basslines to some of the biggest Rocksteady and Reggae hits.
