Dancehall Singjay Shenseea has secured her second MOBO award, taking home the accolade of Best Caribbean Music Act at the UK ceremony held earlier today.

Shenseea surpassed notable competitors, including Spice, Popcaan, YG Marley and Skillibeng. To celebrate, Shenseea took to her Instagram story where she shared a category flyer and a transformative side-by-side photo of herself showcasing her growth. Her latest single, “Waistline,” accompanied as soundtrack.

Shenseea holds the distinction of being the only Jamaican woman in MOBO history to win the Best Reggae Act, now renamed Best Caribbean Act, having also received the award in 2021.
